This Risk Disclosure explains the risks associated with trading financial instruments and with using Justmindsettrade ("JMT", "we", "our", or the "Platform"). Please read it carefully before using the Platform or acting on any information, tool, or material we provide. By accessing or using JMT, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the risks described below. This Risk Disclosure forms part of — and should be read together with — our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
General Risk Warning
Trading financial instruments — including foreign exchange (forex), contracts for difference (CFDs), cryptocurrencies, equities, and other products — involves a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. You may lose part or all of your invested capital, and in leveraged products you may lose more than your initial deposit.
You should only trade with money you can afford to lose without affecting your financial security or way of life. If you do not fully understand the risks involved, you should seek independent professional advice before trading.
Educational Purpose Only — No Investment Advice
JMT is an educational and analytical platform. We provide learning materials, training tools, analytics, and behavioral feedback for traders. Nothing on the Platform constitutes investment advice, financial advice, a recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument.
We are not a broker, dealer, market-maker, custodian, fund manager, or investment adviser, and we do not manage money or execute trades on your behalf. Any decision you make based on our content or tools is made solely at your own discretion and risk.
Leverage & Margin Risk
Many instruments — particularly forex and CFDs — are traded on margin using leverage. Leverage magnifies both potential profits and potential losses, and a small adverse move in the market can result in significant losses relative to your deposited funds.
- You may be required to provide additional margin at short notice.
- Positions may be closed automatically (a "margin call" or "stop-out") if your account equity falls below required levels.
- With certain products you can lose more than the amount you originally deposited.
- Leverage should be used with caution and a full understanding of its effects.
Market & Volatility Risk
Market prices can move rapidly and unpredictably due to economic data, news events, central-bank decisions, geopolitical developments, and changes in market sentiment.
- Prices may "gap" between trading sessions with no opportunity to exit at an intermediate price.
- Orders may be executed at prices different from those expected ("slippage").
- Past market behavior does not indicate future movements, and no outcome is guaranteed.
- You bear the full risk of any loss resulting from market conditions.
Liquidity Risk
Under certain market conditions it may be difficult or impossible to enter or exit a position at your desired price, or at all. Reduced liquidity — for example during news events, market openings or closings, holidays, or periods of high volatility — can widen spreads and delay or prevent execution, which may increase your losses.
Asset-Class Specific Risks
Different instruments carry different and sometimes additional risks. The following is illustrative, not exhaustive:
Highly leveraged instruments sensitive to interest-rate and macroeconomic changes, and subject to overnight financing costs (swaps). Losses can exceed deposits. Pricing is set by market makers and may differ from underlying exchange prices.
Extremely volatile and traded around the clock, subject to large and rapid price swings. Digital assets may face regulatory uncertainty, limited liquidity, exchange or wallet failures, hacking, and the risk of total loss. The legal status of digital assets varies significantly by jurisdiction and may change with little notice.
Subject to company-specific, sector, and broader market risks, dividend and corporate-action effects, and — where applicable — currency risk on foreign-currency holdings. Market hours, halts, and settlement practices vary by exchange.
You are responsible for understanding the specific characteristics and risks of any instrument before trading it. Where JMT provides education, tools, or references relating to any asset class — now or in the future — such material is provided for educational purposes only and is not a recommendation to trade that asset.
No Guarantee of Performance; Hypothetical & Past Results
JMT does not guarantee any particular result, profit, or level of performance. Our tools — including backtesting, trade replay, simulations, analytics, and behavioral feedback — are educational and illustrative in nature.
- Backtested, simulated, and hypothetical results are produced with the benefit of hindsight and do not represent actual trading.
- They may not account for real-world factors such as liquidity, slippage, fees, taxes, margin requirements, or emotional decision-making.
- Past performance, whether actual or hypothetical, is not a reliable indicator of future results.
- No tool or model can predict market movements. Any output from JMT tools should be treated as educational reference only.
Platform, Data & Technology Risk
The Platform, its tools, and any data or feeds we display are provided "as is" and "as available", and may contain errors, inaccuracies, delays, interruptions, or downtime. You should not rely on any Platform information as your sole basis for any trading decision.
Where you connect a broker account via Auto Sync or a similar feature, Justmindsettrade imports your trading activity (such as your trade history, open and closed positions, account balance/equity, and performance metrics) for journaling and analytics only — we do not place, modify, or execute any trades or orders on your behalf. The data we import may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate due to broker-side issues, connectivity problems, API limitations, or technical failures. You should always verify your account information directly with your broker. We do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of any imported data.
- System outages, maintenance windows, or cyberattacks may interrupt access to the Platform.
- Data feeds may be delayed, incorrect, or temporarily unavailable.
- Software errors or algorithmic issues in our tools may produce inaccurate outputs.
- We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, and we are not responsible for losses arising from technical failures or from reliance on Platform data.
Third-Party & Broker Risk
JMT is an independent educational platform. Any brokers, exchanges, liquidity providers, or other partners ("Partners") we list or link to are independent third parties; they are not our agents, and we do not control them.
- Account opening, identity verification, execution, pricing, spreads, fees, deposits, withdrawals, and the safety of your funds are matters strictly between you and the Partner.
- We do not hold client funds, execute trades, or guarantee any Partner's performance, solvency, or conduct.
- We may receive referral or introducing-broker (IB) fees, rebates, or other compensation if you open an account or trade through our tracking links. This does not increase your costs and does not constitute a recommendation to trade.
- Tracking and any associated benefits depend on the Partner's rules and may fail for technical or other reasons. See our Terms of Use — Section 8 (Broker Partner Policy) for full details.
- You should conduct your own due diligence on any Partner — including verifying their regulatory status and terms — before using their services.
Tax, Legal & Jurisdictional Risk
Trading may have tax consequences that vary by jurisdiction and by individual circumstance. You are solely responsible for determining and meeting your tax, reporting, and legal obligations, and for ensuring that your use of the Platform and your trading activity are lawful where you live.
- Financial instruments and services are regulated differently across jurisdictions, and some may not be available or permitted in yours.
- Regulatory frameworks can change, potentially restricting access to instruments or platforms you currently use.
- You should consult qualified tax, legal, and financial professionals in your jurisdiction before trading.
- JMT does not provide legal or tax advice, and nothing in our content should be interpreted as such.
Personal Responsibility & Suitability
Only you can assess whether trading any instrument is suitable for you, taking into account your investment objectives, level of experience, financial situation, and risk tolerance. JMT does not assess suitability on your behalf.
- You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and their outcomes.
- You should seek independent professional advice where appropriate before placing any trade.
- Do not trade with funds you cannot afford to lose.
- Trading while under stress, or in an attempt to recover previous losses, significantly increases your risk. If you believe your trading behavior may be harmful, please seek appropriate support.
